CONGRATULATIONS to NY JULIUS JOHNSON
City of Boston Credit Union is pleased to announce that Ny Julius Johnson was selected as an Honorable Mention winner in the Massachusetts Credit Union League, Inc and Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corporation announce their 2008 Essay Contest for 7th and 8th Grade students. Students were asked to write an essay, with the theme "If you were elected President of the United States in November of 2008, what would you propose to do to make the country a better place for people to live?"
Ny Julius' essay was chosen from over 1850 essays submitted by students throughout Massachusetts. Following is Ny Julius' essay submittion.
If I were elected President of the United States of America I would change things around. I will first pull all the soldiers out of the war in Iraq and have them get back to their families.
I will change where young kids can go to school for free and lower the price for college. I will send $200,000 to poor countries so they will get food, clothes and be able to build a new land.
I will give out free food to the poor and homeless people. I will have people stop cutting rainforest trees down because I think cures for cancer and other things are out there and that is someone's home.
I will love to find a way to stop global warming so animals can live for the rest of their time to love the last bit of snow. While I am working on it, I will also get fish and send it out there for more food after bears hibernate.
I would have hurricane's traced way before they reach land and people will be warned and evacuated.
I would go to Juvenile Jails and have talks with the kids.
I will make peace with other countries so there should be no wars. If a country ever needed something and another country has it just ask and the amount you need.
I would be proud of my work and people will be proud too. I would be the best president.
